In addition to beer, liquor, cocktails, and slushies, you can also purchase non alcoholic beverages for when you want to avoid a hangover. Drinks cost $4-$10 on average and are fully vegan!

Our Story
The Native was officially launched in November 2016 by Jared & Carly Savocchi. The concept behind this inclusive space was to create a comfortable, safe, and exciting place that’s open to all to have a good time at. The bar also serves as an ode to the founders’ favorite dives in Minnesota where they’d indulge in interesting activities and buy affordable drinks.
In 2017, Sam Edgin came joined our team as the General Manager and Events Coordinator and the dive bar experience really took off. Under his expertise and supervision, The Native has been curating exciting experiences that are designed to bring people closer and allow them to have a good time together. We’ve hosted some truly remarkable events at our bar, such as The Gateway Vegan Market, Glitter Creeps Queer Night, Play/Paws, Mouthy Womxn, B-Movie Bingo, and Adult Study Hall. We also pride ourselves in being a dog-friendly bar and regularly collaborate with local rescues such as One Tail at a Time, Alive Rescue, and MCP Rescue for fundraising events.
Today, The Native is considered as a hidden local gem in Logan Square. It’s the go-to spot if you’re looking for cheap drinks, great tunes, and an amazing time out. Visit us with your friends, bring over your date, reunite with your college friends over drinks, or come solo and vibe with the energetic crowd you’ll find at The Native.
